The San Diego Library's Friends of the Library Author of the Month program selected the San Diego Writers and Editors Guild Anthology for their February 2019 Author of the Month program. The three Guild members whose works are included in the 2019 edition of The Guilded Pen to were invited to speak on Saturday, February 8, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Central Library.

The River God, a short story about naked fishing in the Eastern Cape, has been accepted for publication in the 2020 anthology The Guilded Pen. We will update this story when the final publication date has been released.

The short story Lost in Rini is about a terrifying night in the townships of the Eastern Cape. Events may have turned ugly had it not been for the work of lawyer Alistair Weekly, a Grahamstown pro-bono civil rights attorney fighting for poor wretches like those caught up in these events.
